Since setting his heart to study, to do, and to teach God’s word to God’s people, for more than twenty years Dwight has earned the respect and appreciation of Christians throughout the United States and internationally as a gifted Bible teacher of exceptional clarity and depth. His teaching always approaches Scripture from the Hebraic orientation of the Messiah.
Dr. Pryor’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree, with Special Distinction, in Philosophy from the University of Oklahoma, extensive postgraduate studies in Philosophy and Judaism from the University of Texas, and a Doctor of Divinity degree from the Centre for the Study of Biblical Research in Redlands, California. He is a founding member of the Jerusalem School of Synoptic Research, and his many years of association with seminal Jewish and Christian scholars in Israel provide him with penetrating insights into the life, language and teaching of Jesus (Yeshua).
Dr. Pryor is the Founder and President of the Center for Judaic-Christian Studies (www.jcstudies.com). The Center has co-published several distinguished books including Archaeology of the Land of the Bible (by Amihai Mazar) and Our Father Abraham (by Marvin R. Wilson). Dwight’s latest book is Behold the Man! Discovering the Historical Jesus of Nazareth. He is a regular contributor of Bible commentary to THE JERUSALEM POST – CHRISTIAN EDITION magazine, and has produced over fifty audio and DVD teaching series (the latest being Unveiling the Kingdom of Heaven). Dwight and his wife, Keren Hannah, a gifted teacher and author in her own right, reside in Dayton, Ohio and Jerusalem, Israel.
