Don Stanley, Ph.D.

Dean of Educational Technology

Dr. Don Stanley has had an extensive career in both television and education. In the early 1970’s he served as a Television Producer for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). In the mid-1970’s he served as a Network Director for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in London. In the 1980’s and 1990’s he was State Manager of ABC Television in Tasmania. Subsequently he began a second career in education in Jewish studies, wherein he served as Director of the Stella Carmel Guest House on Mount Carmel in Northern Israel. Dr. Stanley’s academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree in Jewish Studies and History from the University of Melbourne and a Doctor of Philosophy degree through the Centre for Jewish History and Culture at the University of Melbourne.
